2019 C300 Issues
Hi All,
I wanted to come and see if others with the 2019 C300 have experienced any of the below issues and how they potentially resolved them.
I wanted to come and see if others with the 2019 C300 have experienced any of the below issues and how they potentially resolved them.
- First thing can't be resolved... but I had a 2016 C300 and I'm positive my 2016 had more interior room, but dimensions posted and dealership are adamant they're the same. I can tell the hood is shorter, driver and passenger windows smaller, front windshield angled differently etc. I didn't notice during test drives, but I notice now that I've had it about a week.
- Mercedes Me Connect... man this thing is frustrating. Mercedes Me worked fine for me before on day 1. After a week, services finally show active in the app and it tracks gas, mileage etc... but it cannot perform any remote services without giving me a "due to a technical error" message.
- A/C on passenger side is hot on certain fan speed settings... for instance it's spitting out hot air on level 7 and only if I have the fans coming out the face vents, but if I switch it up to both face/feet... it turns cold (only on passenger side, driver side is fine). Weirdest thing ever and I have a bad feeling dealership won't be able to resolve this.

If you run "manual lo" too long - the evaporator starts to "frost up" which reduces the cooling efficiency - which for most people then reinforces their urge to stay on "manual lo" - and "manual lo" too long and later starts the "moldy gym shoe smell" in your climate control.
Best to learn a bit of faith and set on a "reasonable" Auto Temp..

It doesn't matter if it's on Lo or 66, or 70. The replicating pattern I've figured out is any setting with the fan speed on 6 or 7 will cause the passenger side air to be from the outside. Responses of set "Auto" are nice, but there's still a problem i want fixed lol

the 19 comes with a sunroof as standard which would be the only difference in interior space if the 16 did not have one. The body is the same - the panels are the same.

I too had a 2016 C300, and recently replaced it with a 2019 C300. For me the interior actually feels larger (though as has been pointed out, it's the same). That's because this time I got a beige interior, and my 2016 had a black interior. The lighter color gives the illusion (to me at least) that the interior is more spacious than the black was. What color is your interior.
I don't bother using Me Connect, so I can't comment on that.
A/C on "low"? The whole point of having a digital setting is so that you can set the temp EXACTLY how you want. Sometimes in the summer, after I've done sports or something, I want it at 66. Other times I want it at 70. My fan is usually at 2 or 3, and I take advantage of the maneuverability of the vents to blow exactly where I want, like right on my face, or sometimes not on my face but on my legs, or etc. Have you tried adjusting the vent directions? I choose, depending on the situation, exactly how cool or warm I want the temp to be, by its digital number. Why aren't you using this?

My comment of it being on "low" was just as an example... it didn't matter what temp I had it on. It's in the shop now and dealer has confirmed there's an issue and they're looking into it.

So interesting you say this... I previously had beige and now I have black. So this makes sense haha.
