Hello everyone!

I am a new (picked it up yesterday!) owner of a 2015 W205 C300 MB (AMG styling/wheels and Premium +) with the black wood (open pore) finish for the trim. I know it's only been a day but i LOVE it.

Anyways, I'm trying to stock up on some supplies to take care of my car. I have always enjoyed the process of washing my car, and I do it well, so I'm not too worried about doing that. I know how to avoid paint swirls and how to really get a good shine out of a car. HOWEVER. I have never owned a car with an open pore wooden console/trim as is found in my car. Are there any owners out there who have the same car or similar to me that know how to safely clean and wipe down that console and trim? I try not to use very powerful cleaners like armorall on anything other than dash and plastic so any tips you guys could give me for keeping my interior clean and pristine would be greatly appreciated!

Any other tips you guys have for being a W205 owner is also very much appreciated, even if it's not the point of this thread. Maybe PM me if you have something poignant I should know!

Best tip is to wipe it down with a clean, soft microfiber cloth. Slightly damp for dirt or smudges.

 

I like to use Meguiar’s Quik Interior Detailer. Seems very gentle with no harsh chemicals.
