Battery replacement diy possible?
Hi, I need to change the battery on my w205 2015 c300. If i decide to change the battery myself does the counter need to be reset from the dealer? I tried to use the search funtion but couldnt find a stable answer.

At the beginning of the video, they made a point to show the warning on the dashboard display. Then at the end of the video they do not show needing to reset anything electronically.
Hopefully that means it's just a voltage/charging rate based warning; meaning that it will go away as soon as a 'strong' battery is installed.

I just recently replaced the battery on my wife's 2015 C300 4Matic. I used the AGM version from the local Autozone. It was a simple procedure and there was no reset procedure needed.
My only recommendation is once you have the battery out - it sits on a plastic tray held on by a couple of nuts - it is trivial to remove that tray for cleaning. I found some debris under that tray so vacuumed it all up and used some armor-all on the plastic base (both sides) to help prevent it from cracking in future years.
