Only one side mirror folds 2016 C300

Has anyone came across to only one mirror folding automatically when opening and closing their car? Both side mirror blind spot warnings and turn signals work, but the passenger side mirror does not fold automatically...

Try turning the option off, shut down the car and then start the car and turn the setting back on and see if it starts working. If not take it in, it may be broken or need a software update. Mine is a 2019 and not continue to stop folding in.

Yeah I tried that setting and still didn't work. Mines a 2016 but it's just odd how the turn signal and the blind spot monitoring is working perfectly.

Could be something caught between the top part that pivots inward and the base, check that out and the other choice is to tap it while it's suppose to be folding (get someone else to make it happen) by using the manual button on the door. Of course put something on the mirror housing like a towel and then use a rubber mallet or screwdriver handle. Could be a motor that went bad or a wiring problem. Don't think it's the electronics because both mirrors are supposed to work together. The fact that the blindspot and turn signals work shows that the wiring and electronics to them are OK, so that leaves the motor or wiring to the mirror or inside the mirror. Could be a loose connector to the motor inside the housing too.

Hmmmm 🤔🤔🤔 I'll take a look inside the mirror... But I have too much fear taking off the back part of the housing side mirror. Do you need extensive force to take the back off?? You use any tools??

One more thing you can try is to put your ear up to the morrow and a finger on it lightly while someone else operates the car and see if you hear anything trying to work or you hear anything. If you do then the motor is getting power and it's probably something jammed.

Update: the passenger side mirror still folds (mirror only) when put in reverse, but not the whole component when it comes to locking and unlocking the car. I did realized the passenger side mirror is a bit loose while the drivers side is much more form. My guess is something mechanical within the side mirror.
