LED Headlight and Taillight swap
Hi All,
Finally got my w205 C300 4matic. Got a killer deal on it but the only downside was it doesn't have the LED headlights and has the single LED bar taillights. I've browsed the forums and it seems like the only plug and play option for the headlights are the Otto Auto headlights. They look great but are 1. 1.7k now vs the lower prices some of you all got them for and 2. I've read at least two negative experiences from customers on these. Does anyone have another option or would you recommend the Otto headlights? If you would recommend them, it would be great to know how long you've had them. I want to swap and never have to worry about them.
Additionally, for the taillights, I see a set on eBay that are reasonably priced. Has anyone done this swap with this brand or have a different company to recommend?
And I will not trade in the car so please don't suggest that. Thanks and looking forward to being part of the MB community here.

Even at that price they they are cost effective compared to the OEM in the event that they ever need to be repaired or replaced.

I also had halogen head/taillights.
I got my LED headlights from Otto Auto
(they're perfectly fine no issues so far)
&
I got aftermarket taillights (looks exactly like OEM) from amazon

Same LED headlights from Otto, but error code. Difficult to contact the sellers and shipping costs to send back and forth is more than the hassle to get rid of the error codes. Still better than those halogen lights so I manage. Same as OEM but no orange light tag on the side of the headlights.
Also got non-OEM taillights from Amazon. Those are perfect.
Also, the fitment of the headlights are very tight. Halogen lights are smaller, so its difficult to squeeze the new LED headlights with all those external modules. In total, probably looking at 2k in cost plus any labor costs if you decide to look for a body shop to do it. And even with that, it will be difficult to find a body shop that works with mercedes and even more to find someone that finds it worth their time since they get significantly bigger job tasks worth more.
