You can install 3 colors or 64 colors ambient light, the relative air nozzle also should be 3 colors or 64 colors, otherwise the colors can not synchronize. If your car already come with 3 colors ambient light, you can install 3 colors air nozzle, or upgrade the ambient light to 64 colors and install the 64 colors air nozzle

2, For 2019 W205. Original ambient light is 64 colors, If the car does not have ambient light, need to install ambient light firstly. Air nozzles need to install 64 colors
IF i Don’t want the air vent I just want the 64 colors instead of my 3 color lights is it possible, and is it only that I plug in the obd and it will program automatically, if so how much dose it cost and what is the side effect for the car if there is.
Yes, it is ok. Just change the hardness, no need to change the led tubes.
Just one thing, the ambient light menu is 3 colors menu, the real ambient light color is 64 colors after you change the hardness, so when you rotate the knob to choose color, the real color is different from the color show on menu, you can just stop at the color which one you need then it is ok.
I was trying to contact you through the website but it’s not working.
What do I need to purchase to upgrade my ambient lightning from 3 colour to 64 colour? The harness and the obd? Or is it only the obd.
What’s s the price?
Thanks
Just change the hardness, no need to do coding.

I have the kit for my original 64 colours 2019 c43 s205, where do I connect the controller box to the original system is it near the fuse box in the footwell? Which fuse hole do I plug the 12v into?

Did you ever figure this out? I'd like to do this some time and I have the 64 color as well but would have no idea where to hook up the connections to?

In the end I paid for someone with experience in fitting the kit I had. It was done in less than 2hours vents plugged into the fuse box and existing ambient light socket in drivers side footwell and the 3d rotating pillar speakers plugged into the door controlers I'm right hand drive. Avoid the other kit that requires the vents to be plugged into the door controler as its not easy to link them thro the secure cable harness between car and door.
I'm happy with the results although a reflection from the side vents can be seen in your wingmirrors. But dim the brightness or run a darker colour like RED looks amazing day or night matching the interior styling with red belts and stitching. Image from my vendor of the door plug. Speakers Imagine from my vendor of the footwell plugs. Left hand drive. Right footwell.

My car already comes with 3 color ambient lighting. I’m interested in installing the 3 color ambient Vents. Does install requires any soldering? If not, where does the cable provided connect to?
Hi,
Depends on the kit I would say. Mine was a plug and play kit. BUT I did have to do some soldering.
The kit was indeed plug and play - but the wiring harness was not exactly correct length. You need to connect to the fuse box in the passenger footwell. (Mine is a right hand drive car). but the control wire needed to be plugged into he CANBUS on the right side of the car (same as in the pictures above for the 64colour.
So I had to extend the wire by cutting and inserting a longer peice of wire. This is where the soldering was.
I got the front and rear vents.
Reasonable easy to fit and looks to be the same fitting as the other 64colour in this thread.
