Changing from RFT to Non-RFT tires with tread remaining

Changing from RFT to Non-RFT tires with tread remaining
Purchased my 2016 C300 4MATIC Sport (staggered setup) brand new and has around 62k KM's or 38K miles on the original RFT(Continental) tires.
As with most people, I'd want to change over to Non-RFT (Michelin Sport A/S 3+). The dealer told me that it's time to change the front tires (3mm) but the rear tires still have a bit of life left on them (5mm)
Would you change the front tires only and keep them as RFT? Would you just forgo the 5mm left on the rears and change all 4 tires to non-RFT? Would I be able to sell the rear tires with 5mm left on them and change all tires to non-RFT?
Thoughts?

If you are ready to move to real tires don't sweat the tread that's left. RFT deteriorate faster once they get to the stage you are to now. I can't wait to get my car off these silly tires.
