Swap C220d SE trim alloys for Sport line Alloys?

Hi just looking for a bit of advice, I’ve had a UK spec 2015 C220d SE for about a year now and absolutely love it but have always found the standard 16” alloys to be a bit of an eyesore, does anyone have any advice for swapping these to the OEM 17” alloys that came with the Sport line trim? I have a local garage that are willing to do it for £30 but they’re unsure if it requires any extra parts, I believe the offset for the 16” is 38 and for the 17” it’s 45. As far as I’m aware there’s no difference in the suspension etc between the SE and sport trim so would these be able to be swapped without spacers etc? Thanks in advance

My c250d is the same as your car but has the sport package so bigger front brakes. It came stock with 18" wheels which a friend of mine put on his 200d without sport package for a month so there is no problem.
If you have the sport package you minimum need 17" oem wheels or if aftermarket I would advise 18" if you dont want to rub the brake calipers

Brilliant cheers for that, my car doesn’t have the sport package it’s the SE Business which is basically the standard trim, it has 16” alloys as standard but looking to buy some oem 17” alloys that where in the sport line trim so by the sounds of it I should be able to swap these onto my car without any issues. Thanks for your help
