Blind Spot Assistance not working in 2020 C300

I just picked up my 2020 C300 that I ordered. Has anyone had any issues with the blind spot not working correctly? I checked to make sure the option is turned on but it does not activate all the time like my 2016 did. Is there a sensitivity setting I can adjust?

Hmm my Blind Spot Monitoring is working correctly but my rear cross traffic alert hardly works, and both systems use the same set of sensors. I don't think either have a sensitivity adjustment. So if it isn't working right I would make an appointment for it.

Yes, I'd take that in. My 2020 blind spot and cross traffic work fine. I like that it beeps when trying to change lanes when turn signal is on.

Not to hijack but quick question. Trying to figure out active lane keeping. Seems to just vibrate a bump to the steering wheel and not actually steer back into the lane. Does cruise control need to be running?

There's two different systems that keep you in the lane. The active lane keeping, after it vibrates the steering wheel a few times, should then actually use the brakes to pull you (not so gently) back into the lane. It does vibrate a few times first, and if you cross outside the lane too much it doesn't know your intention anymore and won't do anything. You have to be slightly out of the lane. When you have Distronic on, active steering is on-line, and it will actually turn the steering wheel gently to keep you in the lane.

To test Active Lane Keeping, be on a a road with lane markings above 40 MPH, and then steer the car only slightly out of the lane so that the steering wheel vibrates. Keep it there and then it should tap the brakes to pull you back into the lane.

As to why the active lane keeping use the brakes and not steering? That's a mystery to me.
