Hey guys,

I put a Dinan piggy back tune on my Mercedes C300 and while driving in race mode, it threw a CEL and went into limp mode. Car seems fine now, but the CEL is still on and the code it threw was an over boost code. As the car is driving fine now I would like to remove the CEL, as it has not gone away on its own. Any idea how I can do this?

Amazon or Ebay has plenty of OBD2 dongles. From $12 and up. I have a bluetooth dongle and i downloaded an App for my iPhone.

 

I bought the Carly along with the companion app but unfortunately it will not clear the check engine light even though the app says that the code is cleared.

 

Order a decent Code Reader from Amazon - clear the code - send the Code Reader back...
