Steering Wheel Volume Control Disabled with Digital Speedometer Display
Newbie question... I couldn’t find an answer in other threads.
I seem to lose steering wheel volume control when I switch from media display to digital speedometer display. Is this a “normal” operating condition for 2016 C300 4MATIC?
The simulated analog speedometer is tiny to my eyes!
Otherwise loving my “new” ride.
Thanks for any guidance.

Sounds like an odd issue for sure.
I confirmed on mine that the steering wheel volume control works just fine regardless of what the gauge cluster display is set to, digital speedometer included.
I installed one of those $40 heads-up speedometers from Amazon that plugs into the OBDII port and projects onto the windshield. It's really convenient and prevents the need to look down as much.

Thanks for reply.
Now I know it should work regardless of display setting, so I’ll see if I can figure out what’s going on. Only had it a few days, so I’m still familiarizing myself with everything. If I can’t figure out what “I’m doing wrong” I’ll get some help from MB dealer.
