We will start from the most basic item: ambient light, any other products with light function, must synchronized with the ambient light(for example, ambient light is 3 colors, other item must be 3 colors, ambient light is 64 colors, other item must be 64 colors ambient light), otherwise different product will show different colors or will not show any colors.
i currently have the issue where i have comand, and no stock ambient lighting im looking for a work around with that... if i install your screen --will i still need to go to MB and have a re-code?
It still have to be code. Because ambient light menu is in original system, we have to unlock the ambient light menu. Android screen has Android menu itself, you can switch between original menu and Android menu. When we need to change the ambient light color or brightness, still have to go to original menu to do that.
For 2014-2018 C Class W205, the ambient light menu is 3 colors, can not code to 64 colors, if we install 64 colors ambient light, the real light color comes out will not be same as it shows on menu. So we just stop at which color we need then it is OK.

No reply from this thread although I spoke with someone who sells the kit on eBay (~$200 for same kit plus the footwells) and they said it's true plug-and-play for us.

Managed to get full 7pc kit direct from suppliers for cost price as I do wholesale and import, picked it up for £400. Going to attempt to fit it with a freind who's done it before.

Hello, I have the original 3 colour ambient lighting installed on my vehicle. I have ordered the aftermarket ambient air vents, the wiring diagram does not seem to be clear. I have opened the blue connector and there seems to already be a wire connected on terminal 1 and terminal 13. Does a three way junction need to be used?
