how do i know if i have the comand or the audio20 system? i have a 2015 c300 -- this is the vin: 55SWF4KB8FU017877 -- im not really sure how to tell... more specifically im trying to install ambient lighting, and heard if i do have the comand system, then i can not setup the ambient lighting.
Running your VIN through an external M-B VIN decoder (datamb.com) shows you do have Comand:
531 COMAND APS NTG5/NTG5.5
Comand and screen size are not mutually exclusive. The larger screen was part of the Multimedia Package which was semi-independent of the Comand option.
