Right. I talked to the dealership selling the car. He refuses to knock anything off of the car. It’s a total of $2300 in repairs needed. I’m walking away from the deal, he essentially told me I need to pay for any repairs on my own.

You would likely appreciate the benefits and peace of mind that come with a Mercedes CPO deal. All of repair items your pre-inspection found would have been taken care prior to being offered for sale. Plus 2 years maintenance and an additional one year warranty extension that starts when the original warranty expires are included. Plus the roadside assistance and other benefits not available when not buying CPO. Also, warranty and maintenance extensions are seamless and Mercedes programs. Good luck..

MBWorld Fanatic!
FYI - on a couple of things - bent wheel repair (if no cracking) $150 is decent market price done by the same guys who do good mobile wheel repainting/repair - rear tail light OE replacement $300 installed my MB cost $165 (yes - surprising low for early W205 which are in incandescent rear lamps.
Keep the beat !

Lol
Just posting this because it'll prob make you laugh..
When I told the dealership that's selling the car about the $2300 in repairs needed, I said "no need for all OEM parts, but I def need it for taillight and the broken sensor".
Dude goes "what's OEM?".
So yeah... happily walked away from that massive red flag. Lol.

Unsure if you've made your decision but ill put my take..
I recently bought the same exact spec minus the red leather.
Was priced at 27k but with only 14k miles on her..
They refused to reduce the price at Mercedes Benz Ft Laud. even though the car has some visible defects..
Luckily with the CPO ive handled all those defects through the dealer without paying anything out of pocket.
I personally wouldnt go for a used Merc without CPO.
Hope this helps and good luck.
