Very hard finding C300 - have to lease?
I've been ready to purchase for well over a month and have spent approx 4 hours per day searching all over Texas for the following: 2016 or 2017 fully loaded C300 sport, white or black exterior, flexible on the interior color. I can't believe how hard it is to find! If I did an Audi or a Lexus I could go find 10 cars right now..For the C300 I find a lot of cars but basically none of them have the Burmeister sound system for example.
I've never leased in my life and I'm not really into the idea of spending money on something I don't own (just personal preference)... But then again I've never had a Benz before. Is this an instance where I should look into a lease? Or should I relax and take my time, and the right car will pop up?

If it were me I'd be patient and what you want will turn up. Likely sooner than later.
There are a lot of variables that affect leasing's pro's and con's, most around your preferences and situation. Personally, I never liked the strings that come with leasing but it is a common way for people to get into new vehicles when they couldn't otherwise. Like you say you are paying on something you dont own but the same can be said for a car loan. I've been a cash buyer, new or cpo, for decades now but not everyone is in that position.
You will likely get a lot of conflicting opinions on this but it really depends on your preferences, finances and future plans for the car.

I leased my 2019 after I found that the cost to extend the warranty on my 2017 CLA250 was the cost of the down payment on my 2019 C300 that would be under warranty for as long as I have the car.
I can buy it when my lease is up (doubtful bc once again extended warranty cost) turn it in for a new model, or walk away and buy something else. That just my pov though.

Open up your search geography and purchase a vehicle from another state. Or have it transported to you in TX.

Are you using CarGurus? I was very specific too on my car and found the perfect one (C400 more rare than C300), I'd think you'd be able to find one relatively quick!?

"Major Options:
Sport Package, Leather Seats, Sunroof/Moonroof, SE Package, Bluetooth, Premium 2 Package, Backup Camera, M Sport Package"
I also see that CPO doesn't come with 2 years included maintenance in that area..

If you want a fully loaded C300 then just lease. Buy a brand new one and build it yourself at the dealer. Or step up to a CPO C400. The C300's I have seen and been in are pretty much all P1 cars or a basic options.

Solid logic. My issue with leasing is no equity and harder to go and buy another car. Right now I'm able to trade a car in which helps a ton when purchasing a vehicle (it's effectively taking 10k off of the price). I'm also not a new car buyer, I always buy used... depreciation hit is significantly lower that way.
I think there are benefits to both though

1. CPO including "Free 2yrs Prepaid Maintenance" is a special incentive run twice a year by Mercedes Financial - or "rare occasion" negotiated by a individual buyer - it is not a Regional/Area thing
2. Either 2016 or 2017 C300W4 (4matic) - White or Black - w/321 Sport Package and P02 Premium 2 Package - there are 9 -16's in TX - with (6) of those in McKinney)- might not have yet been processed at the dealership as CPO - although they will be - so they may or may not show on your "retail" search.
2017's - (1) McKinney and (1) Sugar Land.
Any Sales Adviser at McKinney should be able to give you more info on the "7" candidates there..
