My father passed away last summer and there is a 2016 C 300 W205.049 Mercedes in the estate. I am working with my mother on selling the car but I am having trouble identifying exactly what it is and what features it has.

What information could I provide to someone here to help me more specifically identify the car?

First and foremost, sorry about your dad. In regards to the car, I recommend visiting datamb.com. You can enter the vehicles vin # prompting a breakdown of the options that the vehicle currently has. Hope that helps.

That helps a lot. I didn't know that the vin had so much information encoded into itself.

The car has some sport features like seating, but I can't tell if it's the "C 300 4matic..." or the "C 300 Sport 4matic...." from this information.

I appreciate the help. My mother did took some pics for me today. Planning on getting the car detailed, doing a good Zaino wax, and selling it.

Does the steering wheel have a flat bottom? You have the AMG 5 Spoke wheels. I’m. It 100% but I think that combo would def be the Sport trim.

Sorry for your loss. The car has an AMG line. Keep it why sell it. It looks in good shape.

Thanks. We are selling the car because my mother doesn't want it and I don't have a need for it. I would love to keep it but I have enough cars and it doesn't even fit into the type of car that I need.

The car has approximately 46,000 miles on it. It has had two repairs. On the way home from the dealership, some gravel came out of the back of a work truck and did some cosmetic damage to the front of the car as well as cracked the windshield. All was repaired. Another time, a car brushed the side in a poor lane change. Repaired. Paperwork all available.

If anyone is interested in it, I will put it up for sale soon. It is located in Western NC.
