Small knocking noise coming from rear struts

Small knocking noise coming from rear struts
Hi, I noticed some really small knocking noise coming from the rear struts, especially when driving slowly over bad roads.
I jacked up the car and I could reproduce the small noise by moving up and down the wheel. It looks like the noise is coming from the first/last inch of travel when I move the when up and down. Is this normal or a sign of a failing strut ?
I have check for worn out bushings all around and nothing moves, so all other moving parts of the suspension are looking good. Sway bar, tie rod ends etc looks good.
I have 50000 km and its a c300 2015 4 Matic with AMG sports package. I am still under warranty, so I will go see the dealer to get this fixed. I want to make sure there is an issue before going at the dealer.
