LED lights 2015 C300

Over recent days, I had several 'malfunction' messages on my 2015 C300 concerning headlights, e.g. 'check low left beam, check front left parking light, check front left turn signal, automatic headlights inoperative' etc.
The car remains under 'Star Certified warranty' by MB Canada. Took it into the local dealer (O'Regans MB in Halifax), who immediately (without even looking underneath the vehicle) told me that the car 'must have been damaged in an accident and that misaligned the computerized controls for your headlights and you should call your insurance company before we do anything because replacing the (left) front LED lights will cost upwards of $ 2000.00.
The car has never been in an accident, which was confirmed when I took the vehicle to a mechanic specialist shop in the city who are experts in German cars; they actually put it up on a hoist and confirmed there was no sign of any accidental damage - the headlights (low and high beam) are working, but not the left turn signal and parking light, which are LED lights - and the malfunction messages, of course, keep coming. I cannot even find out from MB in town, where the 'Star Certified Warranty' covers this problem or not. Am now trying to get someone senior at MB Canada for some answers - does anyone out there have any thoughts ?
Thank you.

I had a somewhat similar situation as yours. I opened the hood, unplugged the headlight, waited 10 minutes, plugged it back in and everything was good!
Another member had an issue with a headlight not functioning as it should and he had his mechanic blank or reset the computer and that took care of his issue.
Hope this works for you.

Hi Trappers 101
Thanks for your post. Tried the unplugging and replugging and that eliminated the low beam staying on after the ignition was turned off and both low and high beam are working. What is not is the LED parking and turn signal light, which MB tells me is not under their Star Certified Warranty and $ 2500 to replace......
If anyone else still has any further thoughts, would love to hear. Thank you.

The fact that unplugging resolved some of the problem suggests to me that all of the components are funtioning as designed and it's the cars computer. I'd try unplugging it again but this time let it sit overnight.
My thinking is both of the remaining issues are controlled by the same module and there's a capacitor that needs more than 10 minutes to fully discharge.
If that fails to resolve the issues then I'd take it to a shop that specializes in BMW's, Audi's and Benz then have them plug it into their diagnostic and reset the onboard computer. Sometimes it takes more than one try for them to do this.
I know that may sound like a scary thing to do but the onboard computer gets rebooted a lot during some routine services.
On a side note, only one of the 4 modules, those are the only metal parts located on the backside of the headlight (Google search replacement headlights and you'll see what they look like) are truly accessible without removing the bumper and grill. If I remember right that is the module which may need to be replaced if rebooting doesn't resolve the problem. Still way cheaper than a headlight replacement.
