Replacing the headlight assembly does not void your overall vehicle warranty with MB. They may opt not to fix/replace the headlamp you're replacing in the future if it breaks but they will not deny coverage for other non-related issues.
I would recommend against going through MB. They were going to charge me $6000 for one headlight assembly when I needed it replaced. I bought one on ebay and just did it myself for about $1000. If you really want MB to do it then you might want to go through your insurance for the cash.

I guess it will void a warranty related with the front SAM as the headlight is driven by the SAM. It’s not a big deal. I would wait till Depo release the replacement headlight if have to. Other post here said Depo made it but it’s not available in the US yet.
