Do you know if the W205 has a timing belt or a timing chain ?
and does it need to be changed before having any problem ? or just wait that it becomes noisy ?

The timing chain will last for the lifetime of the car, the engine, owner, or MB whichever comes first. It, however, can go bad with no reason. Parts stores sell the replacement chain. It means someone buy them.
