C400 media not working

2015 w205 C400

absolutely none of my media will work. My BT nor my USB ports will play music through my speakers. Also my phone will connect but it will not play the audio, either music or phone calls through my speakers. Please someone help! I do not want to buy a whole new command system

Try resetting your comand head unit by pressing CD/DVD eject button for 10 seconds.

A gaggle of MB's
And erase Phone and BT Audio setting from both your phone and your MB - reboot both - and reconnect.

Is this Android ? Or is this IOS ?

Hey! It’s my first time in the forum but I have a 2015 C300 and I’m experiencing the same thing since NYE. It’s been such a massive pain in the neck. It stays on just 1 radio station. Nothing else connects or changes. Constantly freezes.

I figured it out! After searching for the last month on the forums nobody had a direct answer. What I did is if you’re semi handy it’s simple. I disconnected the Sirius XM receiver in my trunk under the liner. I will see if I can upload the image and I bought a fiber optic loop from Amazon Prime it was about $9 for a male and female and I used the female loop to circumvent the Sirius XM receiver. Took about 10/15 mins and restored ALL functionality except satellite radio of course. But I don’t use Sirius and never have and never will.

Sirius XM Receiver is the silver box on the right.

This is the male end of the fiber optic cable

there was a SiriusXM update that broke all the W205 radios, you have to take it to the dealer to have it flashed. Or as you did, disconnect Sirius lol

Interesting. My MB Apps have been acting up (I use internet radio) but didn't know what could be causing it.

I'm not sure if they charge for it or not since its caused by a SiriusXM update

My car isn’t under warranty anymore so tbh I was just paranoid of being charged $350+ as some ppl in other threads claimed they paid for an update
