2 months for a lease transfer!?
I was looking at doing a lease transfer, so I called Mercedes and they said it would take two months once I find someone to take on the lease. Has anyone done one recently? I don't know if that is just what they say because it could take that long to cover themselves or what. I thought it was quick, during my quick Googling before I called them, people said it took only a few days to get everything done. I have a guy that wants the car, but if it's going to take 2 months, he'll probably walk.

No more MB:(
I did a swap a lease years ago and MBUSA was pretty slow. Did not take two months, more like 3 weeks or so if I recall. To my understanding, MBUSA is the slowest in these situations. BMW much faster.

Ah, thanks! 3 weeks I can handle. After calling MBF back, they said 2 weeks to get the paperwork and 2 weeks to see a final approval once it's turned in. The guy taking over the lease was alright with this, so I gave Mercedes the go ahead. Hopefully it is like your case and doesn't take as long as they say. The 2 months bit is just ridiculous.
