Looking for parts called Rear trunk shocks

Rear trunk shocks?
rear trunk struts
Anyways need an upgrade or heavier duty version.
im annoyed it won’t pop up by itself (non electric) anymore because it’s heavier now. I put a rear trunk spoiler. Looking for part number or length and “power?” “strength?” Thanks here’s a pick of the spoiler

C200 estate 2019 AMG line premium plus.
Have you looked to see if you can adjust the spring inside the trunk?

Some vehicles have various holes where the spring attaches to the body for increasing and decreasing the spring strength.

just checked and yeah no typical shocks or strut. It’s a spring and I don’t think it can be adjusted but I’ll check.

Open your trunk and you'll see the the 2 hydraulic shocks holding your trunk. Look at the part numbers on them and then google them or go to RM European, FCP Euro and order them from there. Google how to change Trunk shocks.

Thought I would chime in on this older post to help anyone who comes across it. I was in the depths of my trunk last weekend installing an aftermarket sub, and did notice that the springs are in fact adjustable:

On mine, the springs on both sides of the trunk are in position number "two" and have two more additional holes to add further spring force to the trunk lid.

That’s really helpful! Had my sub installed not too long ago too but I didn’t install it so guess I have to remove all the trim to get to it. Thanks!

Update*** I put mine to the “3rd” hole and it works great now. Not sure if I mentioned why I wanted to do this it’s because my new spoiler is heavier and when I want it to pop open it won’t, now it works like normal.

ps didn’t have to take all the trim out just the 1 tab on each side, move cover slightly. tools needed were pry tool, and vice grips.
