Code p1190
Anyone ever have this code and know correct part to fix it? Have tried clearing it and won’t go away. The scan tools at my work aren’t as specific as Mercedes and doesn’t help any on the alldata. Would like to fix it myself just not sure on what it is exactly and from researching it I find mixed results and not much particularly for the w205 with m274 engine

Ended up taking it to the best locally know n European shop recently. He said it was the airflow sensor in the airbox so replaced it. I can tell the car runs better but the code is still popped up and won’t go away. He said it could be a shorting in wiring and would have to trace them which would take no telling how long such would end up being very expensive to end up not finding anything at all. Any one ever had this code or have an issue where a code won’t turn off?

Hi Tyler, I had the same code before. Mine was P1190(12) and P1190. The first pointed to the airflow sensor and the second pointed to the boost solenoid.
I had actually unplugged both connections to work on the car with the battery still connected.
While the engine has started, clearing the codes will not remove it. I had to switch off the car and turn it to accessories on only and then clear the codes.
For me, there was no CEL shown on the dash, but i have the OBD tool to check on any codes occasionally.
Hope this helps.
