Brake noise - Long term parking

Hi Everyone

Hope you are staying safe. So I had an issue with either my pads or rotors. After keeping the car parked for approximately 4 weeks due to the Covid situation, I decided to start the car yesterday just to make sure that the battery doesn't die out. When I was driving around I noticed that when I brake the car would vibrate slightly when coming to complete stop. I was not doing more than 40mph. Any idea what the issue could be?

This is completely normal for any car with disc brakes. When the vehicle sits for a long period of time, rust and contaminants build up on the surface of the rotors. Once you start driving again, the first fews stops can be noisy, take more effort to stop, and cause vibration as the brake pads grind off all the surface crud that built up. A few hard stops should fix it.
