Swapped the factory 18’s for a set of Niche 19’s. Couldn’t pass the deal up on marketplace. Got the full set of niche wheels on Continental DSW06’s plus a matching spare. Tires have 75% of tread remaining. Took the car to my local Discount tire to get tpms sensors installed and have them mounted and balanced. Had no problems with that. Everything was great until my wife got a nail in one. Went back down to discount tire to get it repaired and was told they won’t touch it because of the tire spec!!!??? Even though they mounted them initially. Long story short, went to Les Schwab for the repair and had no issues. Question is what’s the issue with the tire spec? Should I get a new set of tires for the wheels?
Wheel and tires came off a B9 S4 so I assumed they’d be alright for the C300. Tires are Continental DSW06 235/35ZR19 91Y. Anyone else running 19’s? If so what tires are you running? Just want to be sure it’s safe since it is my wife’s car.
