I'M A BIG FAN OF STOCK.

REASON BEING WOULD POINT TO THE BACKGROUND NEEDED FOR AUTOMOBILE INTERIOR DESIGN.

I REALLY CAN'T SAY I HAVE ANY QUALIFICATION WITHIN THIS AREA (OTHER THAN I KNOW WHAT I LIKE).

IT'S NOT JUST ME IN THE CASE OF MY PRESENT MB.

SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASE, I VISITED THE SELLING DEALERSHIP OF MY OTHER VEHICLE.
I PARKED JUST OUTSIDE THE SHOWROOM ENTRY.

THE DEALER'S SALES MANAGER CAME OUT, LOOKED AT THE MB COUPE, WINKED AND MADE THE THUMB AND FOREFINGER GESTURE.

AGAIN, IT'S NOT JUST ME.

EZ
Lol reading your comment reminds of MB famous sentence: "The Best or Nothing".
I agree with you mainly regarding the contrast with its interior design as seen in the picture below. There is a lot of chrome even my steering wheel. On the other hand de-chroming will give it a sportier look specially that the car is white. I was thinking to dechrome only one side and see the difference.🤷

My opinion is that the folks who put the thousands of man hours into designing a car do so in an effort to appeal to the masses, and they make choices that will be most appealing to as broad of an audience as possible.

Those choices may or may not appeal to me as an individual consumer, therefore I have zero hesitation in changing things here and there on my car to suit my personal tastes and desires.

I think with the overall look you have going, the chrome door trim looks a bit out of place. I would consider de-chroming it.

Yep I agree each to his own taste. I guess you are right as matter of fact most of the sporty/amg white sedans i have seen online dont have any chrome around the doors.

A version of the night package is exactly what I'm after. I’ve actually been researching this exact thing lately because I have a white c300 sport. I can’t stand how the chrome looks with the b pillar trim and roof being gloss black. Ill probably end up wrapping the chrome window trim and the front lip in gloss black 3m vinyl and leave the grill alone to match the chrome star.

Yep good idea. I changed the whole front. I frankly didnt like it too classy with lot of chrome. I even changed the whole rear end of the car. My next step is de-chroming one side and compare it to the chromed side and take it from there.
