Having trouble finding cabin air intake duct replacement part
2015 C300 RWD
I was replacing the cabin air filter (the one in the engine bay) today. After taking out the plastic cover (1), I noticed one plastic part was not installed properly and was cracked. (The air filter was last replaced at the dealer and it's possible they forced it back into the place and cracked it.)
I want to replace this part but the part doesn't have the typical MB parts number on it. I'm not even sure if this part is for cabin air intake. It's located at image of step 3 below. I circled it in green.
these are some pictures I took after taking it out. Could you help? Thank you

Reason: add model year
That makes sense. I wonder why it has to direct the air that way, probably away from the intake. I have been driving with the crash for two years and so it can't be too critical.
My 2016 has a completely different configuration with the cabin air filter in a separate housing and neither of those ancillary snorkels on either side.

I wonder what their purpose is?
that looks like a better designed cover. With the 2015 cover, the protruding plastic parts make it more difficult to remove and to reinstall. As for that broken part on my car, all I know it doesn't connect to another duct/tube. It just seems to exhaust into the compartment. (Or it could be an intake) Maybe some water might drip out and it's there to redirect it.

That could explain the weird musty smell when i transition from winter to summer AC.
I've used it for years to kill A/C mildew smells and have also eliminated strong cigarette odor from the previous owner in my last Jag with this awesome stuff.

Pop the cabin filter out in the engine compartment, crank up the fan speed, and spray a liberal amount of this through the system: [[url=http://Ozium Air Santizer Original Scent (3 Pack) [url]https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GMP445O]Ozium Air Sanitizer
