2017 c300 coupe
Headlight Coding

I have 2017 c300 coupe that I bought from someone. The car headlights worked good for around 2 months then started to malfunction. When the car is off the headlights would randomly turn on right through the day non stop. I went to several places and they had me change Sam and all kinda modules. After spending so much money someone ran the vin and realized I have the incorrect headlights. The ones I currently have installed are the ones the non static and my vin comes up with the one that should use static (non adaptive). So apparently the previous own changed them out and now they are malfunctioning. Seeing that both the headlights are LEDs is there a way they could be coded?

You need to find someone with DAS Xentry to scan the car and to determine whether the cars firmware will accept the different headlamps, if not you got pimped by the previous owner>

No more MB:(
Doesn't sound like it, will likely need new headlights.
