Humming in cockpit while car is moving
Since a few weeks I´m the proud owner of a 2016 C200, and the forum has already helped me on a few occasions doing some small fixes.
There´s just one thing I noticed today, which I´m not sure of if it´s normal or if the car has been doing it from the start when I got it. When the car is moving, there´s a very slight electrical humming sound in the cockpit, it sounds kinda like a fan spinning. However it´s still present with the AC and fans turned off, and It´s only present when the car is moving. If the car is in D, and is stopped with the foot on the brake, the humming stops after a few seconds and starts again when the brake is released and the car starts moving again. The sound is also present when the car moves in neutral, rolling down a hill or something, and them stops again when the car is stationairy.
Again, I don´t know if this is normal or not. I hope someone can shine some light on what part is producing the sound, and whether it´s normal or not.
Thanks!
