Looking to purchase a 2015-2016 C300. I have only owned a BMW 335i. Got the car with 24,000 miles and it now has 68,000. Loved the BMW drove great, plenty of power, but Jesus I've spent easy $15,000 (if not more) in repairs over the 4 years of ownership. The car spends more time in the shop than I get to enjoy it. I want to get a new car because I'm tired of throwing money at mine but I don't want something boring like a Camry or something. I know to service a Mercedes it will be expensive, it is expected. But my question is how reliable are these cars? I hear everything from people have a ton of issues to others having no issues. I would like to get a 2015-2016 with 30,000-50,000 miles. What should I look for when purchasing one of these cars? Or should I just say screw it and get a Camry?

2016 better than 2015... recommend you buy Mercedes Certified - with review of past and CPO service.. store the Extended Mobility Tires in the garage for down the road when you sell or trade... decent "normal" all season performance are affordable and much better driving experience

I got a C200 AMG line 2015. German built in Stutgart. 65,000 Kms. I installed Brabus Power Box and Armytrix Exhaust System. I have had it for 2 years now. Car always serviced at the dealer. Bellow is the list of issues I had so far.
1- Auxiliary Battery Mulfuction. Fixed at the dealer. 250 usd
2- Roof not closing properly fixed at the dealer. 200 usd.
I changed my main battery and rear break pads.
Well dats it. Please note I drive this car only in weekends quite aggressive driving ie high rpm.
I used to have BMW 330 XI. I have to admit Mercedes from my perspective is the Best or Nothing.

Avoid earlier 2015/16 c300 because of wrist pin issue in the engine. If you happened to buy one and experience the defect without cpo warranty, that's another $15000 in repair bill.
