C400 Tuning
Hi,
Looking into getting my C400 (2015 - 49k KMs) tuned in Canada (Ontario). This is my first time getting a car tuned so I am not to sure what I should be looking for. There are 2 places I am considering at the moment. Eurocharged Canada or MBHouse:
1.Eurocharged offers 1 tune that puts the car up to about 480 hp 500 torque - they say their tune is safe on a stock car.
2. MBHouse has 3 stages going from stage 1 420 hp & 620 torque (stock car) up to stage 3 480 hp and 700 torque (catless downpipe, air intakes, and performance air filters required). https://www.mbhouse.ca/services/
Roughly both the same price. Was wondering if someone could help point me in the right direction

There are a bunch of tuning companies out there, they might not be in Canada but most companies will send you a handheld. My C400 is tuned by DME tuning, they advertise 120+ crank hp and 170+ torque for $1500 USD. So far AMR comport has the best tune imo, they advertise 100+ whp and still keep you and the car safe at all times. There are more details if you give them a call or look on their website. Now, I'm not saying either of MBhouse or Eurocharged isnt good, it just comes down to your preference. Do you want the maximum gains or do you just want something that will wake your car up a bit? And ultimately, price, I'm not sure what the currency is in Canada but AMR is like $1800, tune only i think. So it comes down to what you want and what your budget is.

I never tried them personally, as I don't live in Canada, and my W205 is still stock. However, I'm planning to upgrade it as soon as it exits its Manufacturer's Warranty.

I am also in Ontario and looking to do a stage 1 on my C400. I have my appointment booked for next Tuesday at Park Auto Motorsports in Kitchener. They have their stage 1 on sale from $1250 for $1000 right now with burble/all limiters removed (top speed, tq etc.). I'll let you know how it goes. 420 HP, 460 lb ft torque (620nm) if I'm not mistaken. Exact same figures as MBHouse but about $600 cheaper.

I got mine custom made, replaced mufflers with magnaflow performance mufflers, deleted the resonator and made it to true duals with an X-pipe. Also went with armytrix dps, pretty raspy and drony, would not recommend my setup if you hate drones and the raspyness. I might add a 3rd muffler to control that rasp.
