18" Wheels/Tires Hitting Control Arm

I got a set of 18x8.5 +45 with tires for my 2016 c300 4matic. Went to put them on and they are hitting the control arm. I love the wheels I got but want to be safe. Any ideas?

Just noticed your wheel width. Looks like it's too wide a wheel for the front. OE spec is 7.5. Maybe people who know better can chime in.

Gents, they fit. I took it to another shop and they properly measured. They even tested the new ones for rubbing but she’s good to go!

Looks like they are AMG Line wheels, 19" for an AMG Line vehicle, yours looks like a lesser spec sport model, correct me if I'm wrong. If that's the case then some adjustment would be needed. The spec list for my car shows something regarding adjustment for AMG wheels if I remember correctly.

I got these wheels from alphaswheels, link below. I did a lot of research beforehand and found the size that fit my c300 4matic w205, knew what style wheels I wanted, and found them for a fraction of the price. No issues yet and absolutely love them.

They did fit, no adjustment needed. The first shop was just scared about how close the rim was to the control arm. The second shop that actually installed, put the tire on the rim to measure and everything was fine. Learn from me and if the shop doesn't put the tire on the rim to do a fitting, don't use them. If the shop doesn't use a lift but opts for a jack, don't use them. I made the mistake of trusting google reviews and previous experience in my old car then just dropped it off and hours later got the phone call. Check out https://www.ebay.com/usr/alphaswheels?ul_noapp=true for cool OEM style wheels for reasonable pricing. I'm not sponsored by them or affiliated in any way, just happy with the product and service.
