I am trying to find a on/off remote trigger for the factory Burmester Amplifier to feed an aftermarket DSP amplifier. (currently, I am using signal sensing)
Can anyone confirm the functions of the small red, purple and orange wires and their polarity when active? (The two large orange wires are the MOST150 fiber optic cables)
(I've noticed sticking a grounded test probe in there will wake the amp sometimes.) A negative trigger?
I believe this is the W205 AMP wiring diagram for the connector but no colors are shown for the lines 1 ,3 and 4.
Yes, i used a pac audio low voltage trigger module TR4 with the oem amplifier in place. I monitored one of the front speaker channels to detect a signal.
Then I switched to the Nav TV Zen M (and removed the oem amp) and it provides an on/off trigger.
hi, i'm trying to retrofit a burmester amp and speakers to my GLC . I was wondering where to connect the mute input to and the wake-up signal.
can i connect them to the back of the head unit ? I don't have schematics for the original head unit connections.

I see. Sorry, no idea on a retrofit. I believe the wake up signal comes over the MOST15O optical connection.
Check YouTube and/or search the forums for someone who had base audio and upgraded.
Audiotec Fischer has plug and play kits, check their install documents for answers.
