Hi guys I’m looking to convert to diamond amg grill A2058881260 with the star A0008881000. The problem I’m having is the star for some odd reason isn’t fitting and won’t snap in correctly there isn’t any damage parts.

If possible can you guys help and guide me in the right direction???

Please provide more details. Is your car AMG line or classic? I assume​ we are talking OEM? Did you buy them both from the same seller? I bought diamond oem grill and this glass distronic star. They fitted. My car is an AMG line.

The parts you listed are both OEM parts and should fit. Are you aware that the star twists slightly in a clockwise direction to lock in place?

They are both oem parts I have a 2017 c300 non amg but I’m changing my grill to the diamond grill and bought both pieces from different sellers. I contacted the seller of the star and his star is from a 2019 c43 he said it was on the horizontal grill. I’ve checked all videos and tried everything but still won’t fit

thats the same star I have but it won’t fit and they are both oem

Nope, the facelift and prefacelift stars for the C43 are not the same.
Your diamond Grill is prefacelift and your star is facelift. The star wont fit.

Try using your existing stock star on the diamond grill and see it it will fit.
Did you install the diamond grill on your car?

ok got it thanks I didn’t even know. I haven’t installed the grill yet, I was going to check to see how much the dealer cost to install it. I’ll more than likely just use my star on my stock grill

The reason why I was asking to see if you already installed it is because as far as I know the OEM AMG products such as the C43 diamond grill only fit on AMG or AMG line models. I hope I am wrong.

oh wow really. Do you know which ones fit the regular c300?

Please give your dealer a call first and ask if it will fit on your car. If the answer is no then I recommend you check Ebay there are plenty of aftermarket diamond grills that can be installed on your car. Get the seller to confirm it will fit before you purchase.
