New W205 SIDE MIRROR AMG LED PUDDLE LOGO LIGHTS

First get in car and direct the passenger mirror all the way down and towards the car, I'll explain later. Remove mirror cap. Make sure mirror is in the open position at this point. Pull the mirror control plug that blocks the camera removal. Remove bolts on camera and try to remove. Push down on external mirror housing from the top, there should be a lot of play now that the mirror is pointing in the correct position. This will allow you to remove the camera. Undo the front clip on the projector and pull it out, again pushing on the mirror housing. If you don't do this it is almost impossible to get out. Now is the part you have to trim. I actually got the new light in without trimming but the mirror housing was pushed down and it would significantly slow down folding and unfolding. So get a strong set of needle nose pliers, insert them through the puddle light opening and trim this part. In this picture you'll see the puddle light and the plastic part it hits. Just grab small pieces with the pliers and twist and pull, they'll pull off easily. It took about 5 min this way.

THe resistor should reduce the brigtness a little bit, but it shouldn't be dim. ( Please see pictures in previous posts)
15ohm was only needed because i also had aftermarket led turn signals on the the same circuit.
Also, did you test to see if you had the blinking issue before adding the resistor? It's only needed if you have this issue.

ALSO, an important note. On the passengers side, I had to literally break the old clips to remove the existing puddle light and the replacement is a bit taller which made fitting in into place a massive headache. Finally I managed to force it in and heard a loud click....fits super tight but if it fails I dont think it will ever come out again.
IMO - the mod is worth it but prepare for some hard work if your W205 has 360 camera.

I just tested a 10 ohm 2% resistor and the flickering went away.
EDIT: When I added my aftermarket turn signals to the same + 12 volt circuit the flicker came back.
I had to use a single 15ohm 2% tolerance, 2 watt resistor to fix each side, instead of the 10ohm. (NTE Electronics 2W015)
