Here in the US the recommended Spark Plug change is 45,000 miles - so you have a bit more to go.
The reason for the 45K mile change - is fuel injection pressures, and ignition temperatures are both so much higher now - it takes a toll on spark plugs versus the "old" 100K mile spark plug life on older model Mercedes
