New set of tires

Hi All,
I'm at 28000 miles with the OE Continental tires. I need some advice on a new set of tires. Should I stay with the same OEM or get new brands. Thanks,
dtd

Stick with OE run flats if you are happy with current setup without spare tire or tire pump kit. Else, Michelin pilot sport a/s3 for all season or pilot sport 4s for summer only, but you would need something incase a blowout like tire pump kit, spare tire or roadside assistance.

@stockbmw, thank you, would you consider Bridgestone Drive guard from Costco? I am O.K with Continental, if I stay with it, I have to buy from the dealer, I would like to try out Michelin Primacy 3 RF.

W205, X253, C190, W213,
I'm in the Michelin Pilot Sport a/s3 for all season or Pilot Sport 4s for summer, camp, and have had each on my different MBs. They transform the car.

I really like to try those tires but they are not RF, are they? So, no one recommends Bridgestones.

Most of recommendation will be non run flats on here because RFT basically sucks bad. They break your rims and puncture on small pebble.

If you are satisfied with your current setup, best to stick with it.

I'm 12k miles in on these: Sailun SH406 All Season

Great traction both dry and wet (no snow CA). Even wear on both front and rear with rotation at 10k miles.

@diamondsilver16, so your car has 17 in wheels? That's why you can rotate, mine has 18 in wheels and i can't do that since front and rear are different in size. However, they wear out evenly. Continental is O.K so far. RF tires are convenient but the selection is limit.

Actually, I like 17in wheel better, since the 18 in wheels have a low profile, so the ride is bumpier than the 17 in one. Just my guess.

I'm currently riding on DriveGuards. No issues thus far (almost a year to date). I have heard numerous times the PS4S is life-changing for our ride so may make the switch eventually when these wear out.

I always like Michelin, but I need RF tires for the W205. I don't want to add more stuff in my trunk. I may buy the Bridgestone Drive Guards from Costco. Did you have 4 wheel alignment from the dealer or somewhere else?

Purchased and installed at Discount Tire - check for July 4th discount sales and rebates. I have a friend that was the manager there for a few good years so I trust him and his crew.

I was cruising in the hill country yesterday and handled corners well, I'm sure not as sticky as PS4S. Ride is smooth, yet bumpy/harsh at times (speed bumps, etc) which should be expected for RFT.

I just put these on in combination with 19 inch wheels for summer about a week ago. It's a little early to tell but so far so good
