When my C350e changes from electric to petrol it displays the malfunction error and electric no longer works. petrol olone is perfect and electric alone is perfect but the transition from electric to petrol causes the error every time.
Indy merc mechanic said starters are pretty robust and the thread below seems to suggest this as well.
Struggling to find a solution. Car booked in with indy at end of month and have MOT end of August. for a almost £50K car less than 4 years old its pants.

There is no starter motor in the C350e - the electric propulsion motor is the starter.
Great news thanks, so that must be good as engine starts. just need to work out what's causing the malfunction. perfect on petrol and perfect on electric just an issue when transitions from electric to petrol
