18 Inch Sport Rims on C300 4Matic
Hello all and please excuse my ignorance when it comes to this. I have driven a 4runner since 1996, so this is my first go at a car since high school. Upgrades to tires and rims are pretty easy since they are all the same size.
I purchased a 2016 C300 AWD 4Matic from a friend and I am looking to swap out the 17 inch OEM rims with the 18 inch OEM sport rims. After doing some research, I understand the rims I have are all the same size and with the 18 inch, I will need to get the larger size for the rear and smaller for the front? Has anyone done this and is there any problems with braking, handling, install? I will only be driving this during the summer months here in Indiana. Is it just a matter of purchasing the rims and tires and installing, or is there more to it? Are the mount sizes the same, etc? I appreciate your responses and love my new car even though I have only driven it a few times in the last 3 weeks.

Hello, congratulations on your buy and welcome 
My car is almost exact as yours, only its factory AMG package so its on 18 inch staggered rims
They are 225 on the front and 245 on the back.
Theoretically when you chose recommended tires for these wheels, you dont need to tweak anything since the tire height is basically the same.
Thats why my tires are 225/45 and 245/40 both R18 obviously.
P.S. Try to skip on run flats as these R18 are on the rough side
