Prepaid Maintainence Cost
Hi,
Looking at a 50k mile service and dealers have been asking for $1200+ . Thought it be better to buy 2yr prepaid to cover this A and next B service. Also what happens to tax on the service ? Is it charged by the dealer or while buying the maintenance pkg ?
What's the latest cost of buying prepaid maintenance ? Couldn't find it on MB website anywhere and dealers just add their own crazy markups . Also dealer ref who sell it for MSRP or less

I was quoted $900 for my 5th service/50K service. I asked them what it'd be without the spark plugs and they told me $400. Spark plugs cost $63 shipped and about 45 minutes to replace. I ordered the engine filter and cabin filters and did those. Called back and asked for just the oil change and was quoted $429...which made no sense. They said it included an A/C drain cleaning. I think MB has a hard time separating the individual costs.
