I took out the rear seat cover (bottom), that black cover and the passenger side trim in the trunk to do some work.

There much road noise when i drive without them. Even with the seat backs up and locked in place.

If i had time i would cover everything in sound insulation.

I covered all 4 door panels as well as the backseat and there was a massive improvement. Trying to decide if I should do the trunk floor and lid but can't decide if it would be worth the benefit.

I found this inside cover for the top part of the trunk.

The back seat insulation option doesn't look right. I have split folding seats and that doesn't even look like a W205 back seat.

...or is that with all the back seat trim removed?

there are W205 variants with non-folding rear seats. if you have fold down seats you can't use the rear piece.
For the top piece, you will need to cut out holes for the fold down lever mechanism.

measure 3x and cut once.
see pics.

Did you have to drill new holes for the clips?

so long they are aligned well at the initial fit, there wont be a need to drill new holes. I didn't had to.

@dagger22 Where did you get the clips from? Are they 8mm or 10mm holes?

Going to try this kit.
