Attention Tire/Wheel Gurus! Advice needed.
I was disappointed to find that very few high-rated winter tires are available in both F & R sizes for my 2017 C300 Cabriolet 4Matic with OEM staggered 19s. Original tires are: F - 225/40r19 and R - 255/35r19. I may need to switch to 18s to get the best winter tires. I'm looking for confirmation that there are no clearance issues if I switch from OEM 19s to aftermarket 18s. I'd also like to know if its possible mount four tires of the same size on 18s (winter only) and, if so, what wheel and tire fits in that case. I don't want to risk drivetrain issues and the car is still under factory warranty.
