Sorry to bump this post up, but I'm looking to buy W205 and I can't find this info anywhere.
I intend to drive my mountain bike inside the car, but I'd rather buy saloon than estate version, so I'm trying to find out if my mountain bike (with front wheel detached) would fit in saloon's boot with rear seats folded. I figured if pedals go through the aperture I should be good.
I'd really appreciate if anyone could let me know the measurements of the aperture (height and width) between the boot and the passengers cabin.
Long shot, but if by any chance are there any MTB'ers around who could post a picture of a bike in the boot that would be beyond fantastic.
(I own L size 27'5 enduro).
I have a coupe, so I imagine my boot is smaller than the sedan since the roof is taller (See pictures from manual). I fit my mountain bike in the boot no problem with the front wheel off and on top of my bike when I drove to a bike shop to fix a rear wheel bearing on it. Now, I don't know how big your bike is but here are some pictures of my bike that fit no problem with the front wheel off and rear seats folded. Both wheel tire sizes are 26 x 195 for reference:
Hi draemux,
Wow, thanks man! This is very helpful. I really appreciate it.
Well, I think I'll have to bring my bike to the dealer to make sure, but now I know there is a chance it will fit in.
Cheers man!
