W205 Evaporator and Heater Foam Cleaning with Kool-it
I wanted to check my AC system for any mold before winter and also do a cleaning.
I got some Lubegard 96030 Kool-It Evaporator and Heater Foam Cleaner from Amazon.
I also got a 5.0MP Wireless (wifi) Endoscope (which has a camera and light at the end), so I could see inside the AC system.
This tool has come in very handy in many projects.
This is the access port under the passenger side dash (on the far left side) with a plastic cap on it. (make sure to replace that afterwards)
This is what the inside of my AC looks like (It is very shiny and clean. NO MOLD)
GIF of the foam going in. Make sure you hold the hose in place or you will get a shot of foam to the face like I did.
RESULTS: The AC does smell better, although the Kool-it kinda smells like Colgate toothpaste to me.

The cap is missing from the Evaporator Access Port. I've noticed A/C coming on slower.
I can't even find what part it is. I will update if I do. But don't lose this little guy.
