Selling my W205
Hey all,
This will likely be my last post on this forum, as I am selling my 2017 C300 4Matic and getting into a 2016 E350 Sport (got a deal I could not refuse). I had the C for just about a year and have really had a love-hate relationship with it. I'd say the majority of that hate comes from the car not having options I originally wanted (i.e., Burmester audio, LED headlights, sport package, COMMAND). Although I do have some gripes with the build quality and overall cheapness with the car that I really couldn't get over. I say this because I had a W203 for about 5 years, and that car was silent and felt like typical Mercedes bank vault level solidity for 100k miles. I had a facelifted W205 loaner, and they definitely seem to have fixed some of the issues related to that, and I definitely could see myself getting a 2019-2020 C43 after the E350. The love I have for the car is definitely how potent and torquey the engine is (also can't complain about 35 MPG highway), and how well it handled in the corners. I also think its aesthetically a very beautiful car inside and out. Regardless, thanks to all who have answered my many questions and for sharing your knowledge. This community has been very helpful as I sought to upgrade my audio system and other questions I had. I wish you all the best. End of rant.
