Trunk drain holes
Hi, I have a bit of water in the trunk (under the false floor)
Are there any drain holes that I need to check to see if they are plugged ? I cleaned-up a valve at the bottom, but I don't think this was where the water could not exit. The water was mostly around the edges of the plastic trunk bottom, near the rear seats, where it is attached to the frame.

I would look for the source of water, more than a drain hole. Water should not be entering the trunk. Look around the trunk perimeter seal (gasket), rear glass moulding, and taillight gasket/seal. W164 GL/ML models have severe cases of leaking taillight gaskets which cause many erratic and sometimes expensive electrical problems due to corrosion of the electronics.
