Has anyone came across this fault? I remember something similar in my w203 (clicking HVAC).... Currently only cold air in being introduced on the passenger side. Mechanic did some diagnostics and was able to open the air flap and a few hours later it went back to being closed.
Side note: Front door communication was lost when I installed the upgraded ambient light kit a week prior.
Very simple follow the fault, change the the flap motor. Also you screwed up the system circuit when you pimped the car lighting. Go back to standard or live with the issue

Will the flap motor need to be reprogramming through a dealership or does it function as plug-and-play?
Ambient lighting is perfectly fine, much better projection and zero issues.
Okay. Would you be able to direct me in the right direction for replacement? I'm unable to find any reference searching the actuator motor location/repair, at least for the w205.
