Does in car Wi-fi turn off with engine?
Hi all,
I hope you can help? I’ve been looking on google for ages but unfortunately can’t find the answer.
I can connect my phone to the car via Wi-fi and Wi-fi to my after market dash am (Blackvue 900X) but when I turn the car off, I lose connection to my camera. This means I lose the cloud settings and can’t do live view unless I’m actually in the car.
Is this an MB setting and meant to do this or am I being daft? If it is set to do this, does anyone know how I can set it to stay on please?

You can pull the start button out and then insert the key in its place.
But from a logical standpoint, I would not expect the wifi access point to continue running after the car has shut off. I imagine it would be designed to turn off at the same time the radio/infotainment system turns off.
