I have recently bought a 2009 mercedes c320. The car has developed a problem with the ignition switch, you have to turn the key several times before the ignition lights come on. Sometimes it works first time, sometimes it takes several times, but its random. Any suggestions.

This must be a 204 model, which have issues with ignition steering lock causing issues.
